What's the least expensive way to hide speaker cables that are running around your living room? I can't put them underneath the floor as we live in an apartment.

I would Google "cord management" and then see what you come up with. I remember looking this up one time and about the cheapest option I saw was this plastic-looking half tube that you can buy from places like Lowe's. You just lay the tubing down over the cords and voila -- no more cords.

I drove myself completely insane with this about two years ago, trying to do it on my own. I did extensive research before I attempted it too, and it was a mess. Save yourself the money and hire an electrician if it's a big project, it's quicker and safer.
