Picked up these bad boys yesterday afternoon. No more wimpy, polite eight watters for me. Forty watts at 1% distortion. Output tubes biased at 180mA. Imagine what these could do with a Pi cornerhorn.

We have to convince Audio Mirror to be a GPAF exhibitor. Vlad's products look good, sound good, and are priced right. I'm sure I'll bring these amps, but it would be good to have Vlad along with some of his other products. I'll work on it.

I really hope Audio Mirror will come next year. They'll have more lead time for the 2006 show, so maybe they will.

Four tubes biased at 180mA do put out some heat. In the Texas summer I always run the ceiling fan when a tube amp is on. This provides a gentle airflow to augment the convection cooling.

I bet the 6A of heater current per 6C33 does a number on the room temperature as well 180mA Ia each.............but I bet the sound you get is well worth a little heat.
