The 4 seconds are so between tracks on CD (obviously) are somehow ....different.Blacker is such a horrid metaphor and worse as a cliche.
I find myself impatient for the next track, unable to anticipate it's commencement and feeling a sense of being disconnected from the machinery for that brief space.
I think that's a major positive, that the Kit One is so accurate that when there's nothing there, there's less there, there! (to paraphrase one of the Literati)
How about you?

I think that's cool, and I also noticed it in my Audio Note Kit 2. Its a very quiet amp. I'm impressed with the Stoetkit in this regard too. I think those are my two favorite kit tube amps right now.
