Hello,

After six years of enjoying my home theater with five Pi Pro Four speakers I'm going to add a new room for movies and music. I will have enough room to go from 5.1 to 7.1. My current Pi four were built with jbl components and I'd like to remain with that "school". Since I will have good corners I plan to build pi seven for the mains. My idea is to stck to jbl and use 2123h with your midhorn flat pack kits. For the center channel a Pi four Pi Seven hybrid with the same drivers. And for surround and rears use the existing Pi fours. I'll appreciate comments on this. I have the plans and documentation for Sevens and Fours that Wayne sent me seven years ago.

Thanks,

Xavier

Can't go wrong with that! Pretty much the best system I could think of!

Thanks Wayne,

One question. Any changes to the pi seven crossover for the Seven/Four hybrid?

Thanks a lot!

Well, it isn't designed for that, so it isn't tested. I'd say probably you can come close by attenuating the mid and tweeter 3dB, but again, this isn't a tested configuration.
