Hi all,

Wondering if anyone experimented with adding mass to the 2226H cone to trade off sens for bass?

Adding 40grams could yield these parameters...

FS 33
Qt .37
QE .38
Qm 5
Vas 175ltrs.

A 170ltr box could go to 33hz.

I think it could make a pretty cool speaker, but the one thing to watch for is high frequency rolloff. Gotta maintain output high enough to handoff to the tweeter. As long as you can do that, you're probably golden.
