Every now and then I get the itch to see what advances there might be. I once built a Fostex Horn with the little 104E: excellent imaging and lovely mids but sounded like a pocket transistor radio above "A" 440.

After a couple of hours of Frugel Horns, Planet 10s, Lowther Medallions, etc., I came across a post on Diyaudio that exactly sumed it up, (in reference to the Madisound BK-16), paraphrasing, 'guy gets a single driver and listens for an hour, posts high praise then 2 weeks later puts it away 'cause it's too damn bright'!

In other news I traded up to a bigger, prettier and "more symphonic sounding" horn.

I understand the neighbors are getting a petition together....
