We want to buy a flat screen television for a small family room in our house. It's 10 feet by 10 feet and the sofa will be against one wall. What would you recommended as the largest size television for that size of a room? This would be for the children to watch their shows.

With a 10 foot gap, you could go as small as 40 inches or as large as 80 inches. Since it's mostly for the kids anyway, I would probably go for one on the smaller end of that range and save myself some money.

I agree with Nymeria that you don't want the biggest size just for the kids. They'll be fine with one on the smaller side. Forty inches is still pretty big.
