I went to a local concert last weekend; the band in question was covering the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. They were unbelievably terrible; I've never heard such horrible butchering of the classics. We ended up leaving early due to some rain moving in, but honestly I doubt we would've stayed much longer in any case.

How disappointing! You were probably looking forward to a fun evening! Were there other bands playing as well or just the one? I tend to stay away from tribute bands as most of the time I am disappointed with how they play my favorite old songs. I think it's because I enjoyed the original band's sound that it's almost impossible to imitate it exactly.
