Dear Semiconductor forum.

This is a nice amp available in kit form, from Perth WA. It uses a low voltage regulated supply (outboard). I added a couple of extra filtering caps. The amp case was built using 3mm plate steel. Its heavy but certainly helps with both cooling and shielding. I am able to use solid core sterling silver on the input and its completely hum free.(infact silver is used for all connecting wires) The only obvious problem is the fact that I have no soft start circuit. I should add a switch to mute the speakers on switch on.

Sounds as sweet as pie! but needs a good quality active pre to drive.

The power supply can get quite hot on balmy evenings in the sub tropics??

Happy listening
