I was wondering how to get the plans for the 4Pi speakers and what is the best material to use to buid the cabinets from. I am a luthier and build acoustic guitars and the type of wood used plays a big role in how the finished guitar sounds. Does that apply to speaker cabinets too? If so what wood is best? I I wanted to build laminate finished cabinets would mdf be ok?

I've sent plans to your email address. The best material for the cabinet is MDF if it will be used indoors in a moisture-free environment and not moved often. If the humidity is very high or if the speaker might be moved often, use Baltic Birch instead.
