I've started construction of a pair of 3pi's. Is there any reason that I cannot use plastic pipe for the vent?

thanks
Les

No, plastic is fine. The recommended method of using a block of wood glued behind the baffle and drilled through is mainly for low-expense and convenience. But plastic is fine too.
