Anyone ever pick up a copy of a book they first read, say 20 years ago, and read it again? I'm doing that with "The Stand" by Steven King, and after all these years, it's still not a disappointing read.

Call me odd, but when I read books I need some background music. Like Vangelis. Reading an old book with new music does give me the impression that I'm reading the book for the first time again.

Maybe I am weird, but I re-read books all of the time, but I don't usually wait years in between reads. I really love to read though, and if nothing else is going on I can read a book in a day. I loved The Stand! Smile
