Wow, Fred, that looks cool! Can't wait to hear it!

My LSAF 2013 project is ready for wiring, testing, tuning and painting. It's an open back 8" Dayton Audio PS220-8 Point Source Full-Range Neo Driver with a 15" H-frame eminence Alpha 15 subwoofer, bi-amplified, using a DEQX as the active crossover and equalizer.

We will be there. We have a conference room downstairs again. And we might have something very interesting.

I think we'll have something very interesting too: Our new H290C waveguides installed in four π loudspeakers:

four π loudspeaker

The H290C is the newest waveguide on the market, and has exceptional pedigree owing to its pure oblate spheroidal flare profile. It provides both excellent pattern control and superior acoustic loading. Most horn/waveguides optimize one of the other, but not both. So this is an exciting new device, and has proven itself to deliver excellent performance, both from measurement and critical listening evaluations from hundreds of happy owners who pre-ordered in 2012 and took delivery over the past few months.

Hi All, Oddwatt Audio will be there. We will have the new Dual Mono Poddwatt, The KT120 Mono Blocks (from the assembled kits - not the demos), prototype fully integrated and remote control Stereo KT88 amp, and with luck (if there is no smoke in the beta testing) an all valve guitar amp. A wonderful event and lots of great folks we are looking forward to seeing what everyone is bringing.

Here's a front/back picture of the completed speakers I'll be taking. These should be of special interest to all my friends who are into DIY speakers, affordable speakers, high sensitivity speakers, full range single driver speakers, and open back speakers. These combine all of the above into one good sounding pair.

The full range is a Dayton Audio PS220-8. The subwoofer is an Eminence Alpha 15A.

Hi All, Looks like some great stuff. I thought I heard last year that folks were going to bring pro gear...amps, guitars etc. If so I would like to have some of you critique my headamp. It might be a dog (or not) , but then everyone has to start somewhere. A clear departure from the hi-fi stuff I have been doing.

Good Listening

Fred, your OB's look fab!! Can't wait to listen to them!

I am bringing two commercially available OB's along with a modified KT-88 based integrated (triode and Pentode capable) & a modified 845 based SET integrated. Plus the OPPO player. Should be fun! Looking forward to seeing every one there! Best John Busch
