Hi there,

I'm planning on building a Western Electric 91a clone and so need a high effecient speaker to go with it,

The 2 Pi looks like a choice for me, simple design, and cheap! I'm on a bit of a budget!

Would the 2 Pi play well with a WE 91a clone? What are the dimensions of the 2 Pi bass reflex cabinet and the 2 Pi tower cabinet?

Thanks a lot.

Hey there LetterBeacon (at first I read letter bacon ... mmm, bacon)

The sizes of Wayne's speakers are at his website under specs/pricing

http://www.PiSpeakers.com/Prices.html

The 2Pi s and some of Wayne's other speakers are tube friendly because they have a nice smooth impedance across the audio frequency range. Tube amps sometimes have trouble with speakers that have lots of dips and peaks in impedance.

If you're on a budget then you've come to the right place: the 2 Pi s are a great value.

Good luck with your amp!
Cheers,
Jeff
