My husband and I are both guitar players. Given this, we've started talking about acoustic rooms. Can someone here tell me if it's feasible to create an acoustic sound room on a budget?

It depends on what you need to do. It also helps if you don't care much about aesthetics.

When I need to treat a room, I'll often start with blankets and rugs or carpet remnants.
