Hi Guys,

I have some questions about the JBL 2226H drivers that i have recently purchased.

There are quite a number of small ripples at the back of the woofer as you can see from the picture attached. The previous owner told me that it is not a reconed speaker, all original.
Any idea what caused the small ripples at the back of the woofer?

When i use a meter to measure the impedance of the speakers, it read 5.6 ohms on both the speakers. Is it consider too low? will the impedance drop again with age?

Hope you could clear my doubts. Thanks.

Those are normal. In fact, if you didn't see them, I'd suspect the cone was not a genuine JBL part.
