Hi Wayne , i purchased the components -2226H and 2426H in 2007 and finally i found the time ,in this last Australian winter, to build the speakers. the crossover is a 1600 Hz eminence with c5 and r3 removed ( see your document marked PDP 001-0011 )
I have one amplified SW ( Klipsch ) .
I am very impressed with the overall sound quality.
However , with some musical genres, i wish the speakers had more pronounced high notes.
I saw the comparison between the B&C 250 curve and the 2426H and it is self explanatory why you tend to favor the B&C.
Would it be feasible to modify the crossover and add a Beyma CP21F to handle the spectrum between 8KHz and 16 KHz. making the speaker a 3 way system ?
Or you would rather recommend replacing the 2426H with the B&C 250 and your new version of crossover?

Let me know what you think
Thanks again for designing a great pair of speakers

The 2426 definitely rolls off early. The DE250 provides greater extension. So I would definitely suggest upgrading the crossover and compression driver.

Hi Wayne,
Would you please resend the 4pi plans. My hard drive crashed and the back-up file is corrupted.

Thanks you,
Geary
