Does anyone here use movable acoustic panels when recording? Which instrument do you use them for, or are they strictly for vocals? I've seen them used for voiceovers sometimes.

Yes, I generally use them for voiceovers and singing. I haven't actually tried them for other instruments yet, but it would be fun to experiment.

I use them a lot when I want semi isolated tracks during a session in which the artist prefers to perform all tracks live simultaneously. Getting full studio separation is simply beyond the capabilities of my little home set up, but using a good set of baffles (home made ones in this case) helps tremendously and offers added clarity and control for each channel.

I use plexiglass sheets occasionally when recording louder instruments, such as drums, in a live (in the studio) setting. I have a very small set and a very large free-standing tri-panel set. They work beautifully!
