Finally, I'll have a brand new phone in a few days without spending for it. It's an iPhone and is a gift from my brother! Has anyone tried any of the sound and recording iPhone Apps? Which ones do you recommend I should try out? I'm not looking for apps which support complex functions. Right now, I just want something that helps me record lectures and meetings, compose music (for personal use only )Surprised - things like these...

You could check out StudioApp; it has 4 track capability and is only $8.99. If you want something cheaper, try GigBaby for 99 cents. I think it also has 4 tracks.
