What brand of mp3 player do you like? Mine broke so I need a new one and I was considering the iPod but I didn't want to be restricted to iTunes. I'm debating on getting another Samsung.

The Sony Vaio VGN-NS135E Laptop down-converted to Windows XP with custom Sony drivers.

It can play everything and has 250gigs of space.

But isn't that a laptop and not really an MP3? I have an iPod shuffle, but with plans to buy an iTouch. I don't mind iTunes that much. I had bought a different MP3, but I am so dumb that I couldn't figure out how to buy music and download other content.

Hi, I have a Sony NWZ-E344. Very compact and does a great job. Good display and works with a lot of software. The PC thinks it is an external drive and you can just dump stuff to it. Able to use many formats of music. I generally do 320K MP3s. It will hold about 800 or so of them. Stock phones are OK, but I find Sennheisers better. Smile Also easy to find in the $75 range. This is the second one I've owned in the same series and the other served me well for years (still works, but is only 4 gig).

Good Listening

Hi, With all the new features....is anyone using a smart phone as a player? If so which one as I am considering getting one and it might be nice to have a back up music player on the go.

Good Listening
