I would like to give my nephew a handheld game for his 10th birthday. I am wondering if the DSi is the way to go or if there is something that is better. Well, it doesn't necessarily has to be better. I guess the one that has the more options for games, etc.

I haven't tried them all, but my girls got the DSi for their birthday and they love it. There are so many games available in all price ranges that you won't have a problem getting games.

How about a 3DS? It's the latest model of DSi that was released early this year and it's in 3D Smile I think if you're worried the 3D might mess with your nephew's eyes then the device also has some parental controls that allow parents to change the settings back to 2D when they wish Smile
