Do any of you audio gurus know if it is possible to autotune something live? I have seen these gigantic systems that are apparently a type of vocoders, but I don't know exactly how they work. Thanks in advance.

Of course it is if you only want it to sharpen up notes to be perfectly on key or to scale or transpose them so that you only have to use one key singing. But as a singer, it is practically impossible to to monitor yourself and deal with the changing pitch that is completely inconsistent with your muscle memory.

It would take a ton of practice, in other words. You aren't going to learn how to live autotune in a few days or even a few weeks.
