I'm really hoping I will be able to get a loan so I can get a house, because I'm tired of living in apartments. I want to be able to buy a really nice sound system and watch movies loud, listen to my music loud and not have to worry about bugging the neighbors. Any surround sound system you would suggest for movies and music?

It depends on how much you're willing to spend. If you're looking for a good, relatively inexpensive system, Samsung's HT-BD1255 for just over $600 is a good choice.
I hope you get the loan in order to get the house. I remember how bad it was to live in an apartment where I couldn't make the changes I wanted. I have heard some good things about Samsung. I am pretty sure you can find an affordable system.

Thats one of the worst things about apartments the thin walls. I saved for three years to set aside enough to get my house and I love having my own space. Good luck.
