I'm not an old-time programmer, but the earliest version of Fortran I know of is FORTRAN-77.

BTW, here's a prediction that was real, but 30 years late to come true.

the "console typewriter" is a DECwriter, a commonplace 1970s computer peripheral. So, this was a Photoshop hoax. The big control panel with a wheel on it probably came from a ship's engine room. The TV on the wall is just a random pic of an old TV.

Guess nobody here learned computers in the 70s?
