I swear to you that in the town next to where I live, they still do radio auctions. They have these one time a month on a Saturday and they are a hoot to listen to. The auction is so slow and the people that call it are slow.

Anyone hear these anymore?

That is pretty cool, to be honest I have not heard of any radio auction in a long time. Do people call in and bid? I find that pretty interesting and so "old". I would love to hear one.

Yes people call in and they bid, the auctioneers only ask for their phone number and they write down the bid. Then someone else calls and bids on the item or something else. They keep listing items and people keep calling. There are a lot of items that they don't have to bid on, they can just buy!
