The Cary Rocket 88 sure is a beautiful amplifier!

About the eye tubes, are you asking if replacements are easy to find? Or are you asking if they're physically easy to replace? Surely it isn't just an adjustment, but have you checked the intensity adjustment, just in case?

Bummer. So are you wondering about physical replacement? Have you opened it up to see how it is mounted? Or are you worried about finding the tube? Now that I think about it, I'm all questions and really no help am I?

I know some eye tubes are sort of scarce, but I would expect you'd be able to find replacements. If nothing else, I would expect Cary would sell you a tube. I'll bet the guys at VTV would too, and now that I think about it, there are probably plenty of other sources.

Have you seen Eric Barbour's article on eye tubes? If you haven't already seen it, check it out - It's interesting and has some great information.
