We want to turn our basement into a theater type room. It's a finished basement (50%) of it. We have about half the room to use - there is a wall that separates the basement.

I'm looking for a good small home theater for a smaller area. Any suggestions?

What is the wall that is going to be separating the entertainment area made of? Can you mount stuff on it? Is the room too narrow to put the TV on one of the long walls? I think we need a better idea of your ideas.

I think that we are better off putting the TV on the other wall, the wall that separates the room would not work - it splits the room so there is not a lot of room to put the couch or chairs in that direction. I'm thinking a Big screen (flat) TV on the far wall and the seating against the other far wall. I would say the room is 12 feet wide and 50 feet long (just an estimate). The walls are concrete (except the wall that separates the room in 2).

It does look like a great deal for speakers, they look a bit too big for our room though. Where is the rest of the home theater?

I'm kind of leery buying online, is that odd?

Don't be shy about buying online if it's from a brand with a good reputation; honestly, I've gotten so many better deals online that I never would have gotten otherwise.
