Looking around the net at DJ cables I see the Monster brand has some good reviews. Are they really superior to others? Seem pretty professional to me but maybe for the more serious DJ?

I personally think Monster brand cables are overpriced. You can get better for less.

Decent Pro Co's seem about the same. The Monster cables are a good build but very high priced.

Thanks for the replies. I will keep looking around then. I don't usually follow the thinking that higher price equals better product but they had such rave reviews that I windered if this time it really was true. Shocked

Well - I've got some Transparent Audio Cables (Reference or higher where the least expensive interconnect was $2,500) which were from a high end studio and hi fi setup. I tried them as fun for live sound and with my QSC and Meyers they seemed a bit smoother. Not nearly as dramatic as a listening room. Can't imagine paying that kind of money for live sound where they will get beat up.
