Hope all you'se had good holiday. Went out yesterday morning on the boat and the weather was so fine! Visibility 10 mi. or more. Lots of fish but few keepers, they must be 17" now so lots of throwbacks. We have the secret place(everyone from Long Island cover your ears), the sore thumb by the inlet. There is a drop-off there with a ledge about 30 ft. down off the point. The tide brings in the little fish and the flukes sit on the ledge and feed. My buddies wife caught a nice 4.5 lb. doormat. It was so nice we decided to flag the barbecue and stay on the water. One of those evenings when all the colors blend and soften with light breeze.
We were able to see all the fireworks going on in the area. Stopped by the Coast Gaurd station and cooked up the Fluke with some corn on the cob and watermelon. Margarita's and the CD player had Chick Corea"Romantic Warrior", and on the flip side Genesis" TrickOf The Tail". All-in-all a good day. Hope ya'll had the same. GBA(God Bless America).

Sounds like a wonderful time!

Alona and I and a few friends went to the riverparks to see the fireworks display here in Tulsa. We've been out and about most all weekend - Nice to have this break!
