It seems like plenty of people still own radios, but who uses them still? In particular, I am curious as to the digital radios such as can be picked up through TV receivers-do these get much use?

I listen to Pandora stations sometimes, as background music. And of course, I often listen to our own streaming internet station, ART radio. But I still love my old tube radios the best.
My daughter had a little radio for a time-tiny thing that didn't have a headphone socket and only had limited output. Then she got an iPod, and if I'm honest I wouldn't know where the radio is anymore. She does Pandora on it, but certain in our house radio is no longer popular.
I have never really used radios until recently actually. It came with my wake up light and I think it is great since I can listen to the news whilst waking up.

I have a radio inbuilt into my CD player/tape combo. I guess this makes it somewhere between the traditional type and the digital radios you mention
Can't say I use it though. To be honest endless background chatter annoys me intensely.
