We watched The Lovely Bones last night and it was really good. I didn't like the ending as much as I would have if they found her body but it was good. Has anyone else seen it? Did you read the book too?

I wanted to see this in the theaters, but I was afraid it might be a little too scary for my 8 yr old daughter. When we go to the movies, we normally go as a family and try to see something appropriate for everyone. I definitely want to get the DVD because I am sure I would love it. I may just get the book first before watching it so I can see how they compare.

I read the book and as usual, there was no comparison with the movie. I really enjoyed the movie until I realized they had cut off so much of the book to make the movie.

Well I thought it was good too. I didn't read the book either but I plan on it. I don't know why some people thought it wasn't worth renting it either. It cost me a whole dollar at the redbox.
