How should I make the size of the HD video become small? What kind of file format should I convert my raw video so that the size won't be too big?

I captured a wedding of my brother and the whole video won't fit into a 4GB DVD because the video has about 6GB.

You'll need some video editing software to change resolution of a video stream. Do a search on the internet and you'll find a lot of software that will do that.

This may sound goofy, but that's pretty cool. I didn't know you could change the size of something like that. I mean, I always thought 4GB is 4GB is 4GB, ya know? Neat.

Well, yeah, but when you reduce the size of an image file, you have to either reduce the resolution or you have to compress it tighter, which usually means data is lost. Either one represents a reduction in quality.

I found a cool software that gives solution to your problem. I bought this software a month ago for only USD$39. Thanks to my cousin for giving me idea to buy the coolest editing tool called HD Video Editor. I'm more relax now in the office compared before. HD Video Editor makes my work easier and free from hassle.

How much more is that going to do that say something free like MS Editor? The free one that comes when you have a copy of Vista on your computer (I think that's the name).

MS Video editor is just awful. Really horrible-and the videos I edited were larger than the originals-all I did was rotate them.
