I've ordered the Parts Express 200 tweeter buyout, and I'm planning to build a pair of line arrays, each with 100 of these drivers running full range above 200hz. I plan to boost the response from 200hz to about 3khz. I'll use a subwoofer below 200hz. I know somebody will tell me this isn't going to work, but I checked Dr Griffin's line array bible, and it says the ctc spacing is ok. Laughing

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose to post this in the Dungeon? Wanna keep the budget projects outta your neighborhood and leave 'em in the slums? Laughing

No, I positioned it in the dungeon because it's a ridiculous design, but one that I saw on another forum. Running tweeters with a 4.2khz Fs down to 200hz with a bass boost might produce a bit of distortion. There seem to be more impractical designs for line arrays than for any other type of speaker. I know because I've done some myself. Laughing

Also because this forum has been dormant too long, and I don't have any good Nobama jokes.

Looks like they're sold out of the tweeters. Your project must've really taken hold!
