I am looking for some one near the Tulsa ok. area that can help on this tuner, it .fades out and off station. I did recap the amp section and on aux and phono it sounds great. Any help would be nice. Oh it is a sr 406

You say it fades, have you checked the tubes? Antenna?

Hi Wayne I have not tested all the tubes yet, I did find if I let it warm up real good it does allot better.
I am going to test all the tuner tubes in the morning, I recaped the amp section so it is doing good on that part. There is one cap I have not replace as it looks like a .22 uf @ 50 volt but the sams says it is different.
I will post up after I test the tubes in the morning.
Oh Wayne I got a better tube tester but am still learning how to use it lol.
