Norway, Finland, Sweden...miles ahead in everything...but the climate...brrrr... I vote for Mediterranean...the rumours that people there just drinking cofee, drive their Vespas in sandals and asking those tall blondes from above countries for a boat trips and swimming are definitely true, IMO.

Please; that was such an amateur hour that there is no way he is anykind of pro lobbyest. A real pro guy would have had me for breakfast. These guys spend their lives and hang their reputations on knowing how to counter simple arguments like what we offered. Strictly bush-league.
My opinion is that people live in those little towns (partly "isolated" on the islands and some parts of the coast) for thousands years continually. They are on the Helenistic and Roman roots (if not even older); new population ("Barbarians" from 6th-7th century) mixed with old - and from centuries they find a way to live in harmony with the nature and each other, and good things in life... It isn`t everything perfect, but believe me - you don`t need the guns there...just the sun lotion...
That is an excellent explanation of what I could not put into words. I feel the same way. Wish we had their secret; one thing; no handguns are allowed.
