I've got one of those, too. That's what I started with back in the early 80's and used up until the mid 90's. Very efficient, fast compared to traditional equipment (say 300+ fps vs. 160fps), but not any more effective if you you know what you're doing with the trad stuff. My brother gave me this one I have a couple of years ago in trade for a knife I made. I've only shot it a couple of times and don't have anything set up on it. They are more complicated to tune due to the mechanicalness (is that a word?) of the design, but much easier to learn to shoot well with.
