Have you considered trying the Faital HF10X instead of the DE250? I believe it does a better job of extending to 20khz and is comparable in price. Danley is using Faital drivers in their newest speakers.

No telling without a test. It looks comparible, but hard to say if either is better than the other from the data at that link.

Sounds good. I was just curious if you had tried it. It might be a good replacement if the DE250 ever goes out of production.
