Hey Bill,

Approx. what thickness layer of rope caulk did you apply to the H290s. How many packages did you use for both horns? I want to try this, replacing the felt I have on there now and which I never really heard much of a difference with.

There's 8- 1/8" diameter cords making a 2" wide ribbon. Package says 90 linear feet which means 11+ feet of ribbon. I used about 8 feet.

Both Home Depot and Lowes sell it in a purple box by M-D, Macklinburg-Duncan, part #71548.
