I'm here doing all the little tiny details for the 12π basshorn sub, the cut list and all the fractions and what not. While at it, I'm listening to a couple of CD's from a while back. They're female vocalists from the 1980's, but they're not Madonna, Blondie or waif girl sings pop stuff. They caught me enough I felt I should make a post. I was also getting tired of all the weird fractions with 32nds of an inch and needed a little break. So check them out, click on each of them and go grab a few sample sound bites.

Basia - London Warsaw New York
Kate Bush - the Whole Story

Huge fan of Kate Bush. Looking back she is a little too much but back then I liked her stuff. Also let me state catgorically that Kate Bush is the most beautifull female on earth. Dark Green eyes and jet black hair; unbeleivable. She's a dancer with a dancers body and she writes the songs/plays the music and sings as well as produces. The only living proof there may be a God. Except she smokes cigarettes; the fatal flaw.
"Them Heavy People".
I have one of the few copies of the white vinyl edition of "The Dreaming". Actually, who cares, it is the music that is good.

The first time I heard Kate Bush was on the So album by Peter Gabriel. I've been a Genesis and Gabriel fan since way back. Bush was enchanting on that album, a perfect match for Gabriel. After hearing her on that, I discovered some of her other music and just love her. Word has it she'll be releasing a new album soon. And by the way, check out her photo gallery on Gaffa.org.

She's part Gypsy and Black Irish. What a look on her. She's afraid to fly thats why she never did many concerts over here. I woulda had to meet her if she did. Then who knows; anything can happen.

Like a stalking arrest? J/K

Tori Amos seems to me to be the heir to Kate's crown. Sort of a pretty girl in her own way, too.

I kinda dig her too. Thanks for pointing her out to distract me for a minute.

O'Kay; it's honest appraisal time. She has too much of the desperate housewife look for my taste.
Whats your take?

Well, really I find her kind of attractive, but she's not a raving beauty in the Monica Bellucci mold - they really glammed and photoshopped her up for that portrait. But I'm kind of weird, it's really her over-the-top (overwrought?) music I find interesting once in a great while.

So is it a guilty pleasure? Like my fondness for Three Dog Night?
"Mama told me not to come."
The other two loves of my life from the entertainment world is Tuesday Weld and Grace Slick. TW sure looked great in "Dobie Gillis".
Both women collect Social Security now.
