These enclosures' art deco style is cool looking, but I went overboard with the double thick mdf, and they're too heavy to lug up and down the stairs, to audio meets, etc. They're perfect if you plan to leave them mostly in one place.
I'll be building lighter weight enclosures out of baltic birch, and the old ones (pictured below) are free for anybody who'll pick them up at my house.
