She was a star of old Hollywood. Who knew Hedy Lamarr was an inventor?

Beauty and brains. A rare symbiosis. I've read her insight's were eventually used in the development of cell phone technology, sonar development. She really was one in a billion. I wonder if her intellect was disarming to the male dominated thinking of the day that would be patronizing and boorish. She was a dish though. Hollywood was a aristocracy back then and the women of that era seemed like Cinderella.

Cool! Glad she finally got recognized. She and Antheil helped pave the way for GPS and Bluetooth.

Got to add that Blazing Saddles quote: ".. it's Hedley. Hedley Lamarr."
