Did you watch any of it? Did you see any of the nominated movies? I saw Killers of the Flower Moon, liked it a lot, and hoped Lily Gladstone would get Best Actress.

That's a true story isn't it. Leonardo DiCaprio is a fine actor.

Yeah, true events. The title is from the book the movie's based on. It was frustrating seeing the evil committed, all for money (what else?)

That's the American way. Just ask any native American.

No, I missed it, but I've heard that it was one of the better shows that came out of this awards season. I'm surprised that Barbie didn't win more categories. The lack of awards won't dent its popularity, though. The show will go down in history as a cult classic.

I used to be a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio's acting, but lately he's been playing one-dimensional characters that bore me.

The Killers... cast was great: Gladstone, of course, and actors with smaller parts like Jesse Plemons, Brendon Fraser, and a couple of country singers (Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson).

My sister really loved Past Lives and insists I see it, but I'm not interested in the plot. It seems like a soap opera with arthouse-like style, which kind of turns me off!

I haven't watched the movie yet, but I am sure I will enjoy it. Both DiCaprio and De Niro are brilliant actors. The partnership of these two stars is just fascinating!
