This afternoon, I was thinking about Jim, realizing I hadn't seen him at the last LSAF or two. Knowing he was running down, I dreaded to do a search. But I did, somewhat knowingly, and found that he had passed on June 6, 2018.

All LSAF regulars remember Jim. He spent a lot of time at all the early shows, all the way up to maybe 2010 or 2012. Even after that, he came, he just didn't stay as long. I think we all would have noticed his absence if we hadn't been interrupted by the lockdowns.

We miss you Jim.

He and Bob Spence took me under their wings at the 2005 Great Plains Audio Fest. They were bound and determined to show this Yankee some southern hospitality. What a wonderful time.

Jim was a great guy.
