A 1964 war film dark comedy drama stars James Garner and Julie Andrews. James Garner plays a coward opposed to bravery and self sacrifice of war. The writing and acting make this one of my favorite films. The song Emily comes from this movie.

It's a great movie. One of the few I'll watch again every few years.

Wasn't Miss Andrews in Sound Of Music? Another war based movie? I guess that was her genre.

I've never heard if it till now. Can one find it on Netflix?
