As noted elsewhere on this forum, I've recently been introduced to classical music and am hooked. Not long ago I bought a new set of speakers specifically to listen to my heavy rock collection and some blues. They are Bluetooth Edifer R1700BT. Not brilliant, but good enough and what I could afford.

I wonder if they are "delicate" enough for some of the lighter passages of the classical tracks. Am I right? Do different types of music need different speakers?

Classical music can be some of the most dynamic music.
I would suggest using a high sensitivity speaker (97db minimum?) to portray that.

I prefer 2 or 3 way designs over single driver/full range, so I can still rock out (high SPL) on a whim.
