I have not been interested in what a speaker really looks like just what it sounds like. Now they are coming out with R2D2 looking speakers. Are you in the new design?

I'm from the old school and square or rectangle are the ones I like best. My décor is such that an R2D2 shaped speaker would really look out of place. I'm not trying to be "hip" anymore.

I'm with GoldenOldie. I like the classic look better. I can appreciate the more modern ones, but they're not for me. Why is it that with advances in technology, things always seem to get more round?

I'm thinking that with a speaker that looks like R2D2,
the idea may be to have a fun and exciting looking home theater, where the android is not meant to be perceived as a speaker at all.
