Many of you may know of Twenty One Pilots and their song Car Radio. However, if you don't it's basically a song about a man who's car radio is gone and now he has to sit in silence with nothing but his thought that he usually tries to avoid. Do you think it's true that the radio keeps up from having to think and deal with our problems in silence?

I'd call the radio a necessary distraction. I always ensure that my radio is on when driving. There's some tranquility that comes with listening to your favourite tune at a reasonable volume.

I've always thought of it as a necessary distraction also, until I heard the song. Of course, I still listen to my music extremely loud while driving, but the song did make me more conscious of what I'm doing.
