Anyone here go to casino's? Do you know if casino's have some rule against wearing earbuds while you're playing? I frequent some of the local ones where I live and would like some music these days when I'm playing.

If you play the cards, I wouldn't wear earbuds if I were you. For all they know you would be getting feeds from someone who is looking at others' cards. Slots though, I don't see why not.

I'd check with the casino first. There are some that have banned hoodies and headphones completely, and rules coming in about things like Google Glass and smartphones for obvious reasons.

Any kind of audio or video device, no matter how small or inconspicuous, I wouldn't bother taking. Some places won't even give you a warning because they figure you should know better.

I think it makes sense that they would ban someone for that. There are a lot of people out there trying to rip the casinos off so they are not taking any chances.

I'm not sure if there's a rule against wearing earbuds in the casino, but I don't think it's a good idea to wear them. The casino owners may think you're cheating and have you booted from the casino.

If you can't get them to allow you to wear them then the simple solution is to play online and then you can listen to music when you do.

I'd say it depends on what you are playing at the casino. If you are wearing earbuds then you won't be able to hear anything being said. For me, wearing earbuds is a huge distraction and I only have them on wen I'm home.

I guess wearing earbuds might make sense if you were playing slot machines or something like that, but if you were at the tables that just wouldn't work because then how would you hear what was going on?

Very true Singlow. How would you even know when a supervisor is making a call. Makes more sense if you are playing in the slot machines and no one else's in the picture.
