Hi guys,

Anyone consider or model a conical midbass horn with 60 deg by 40 deg angles. IT would obviously be longer that what Wayne has worked up. Just looking for 250hz sitting 2-4 foot off the floor in large rooms and mating to a 6040 1" horn on top.

Thanks!!

Scott

I was working om a midbass horn like that a few years back, but I decided not to follow through with it. Maybe my preliminaries might be useful for you:

Not bad for a simple build and corner load. I'm looking more for off of the floor. with the same range as your current midhorn but narrower.

The 9Pi horn was intended for use in freespace, without benefit of boundary loading.
