We've had some ridiculously cold weather for the past couple of days. With the wind chill, it's been down below ten degrees at night and today, I think the high was about 12 or 14 degrees. Anyone else seeing weather like this?

It's that way in Arkansas and Oklahoma too. So cold!

I had to go out and buy thermal underwear at the beginning of the week because it's been like that here. I know some places may see winters like that every year but here in the southeast it's pretty unusual for temps to get down below freezing and stay there.

Every night I pray for sunshine the next day. We have been having the worse cold winter. My electric bill is crazy high. I think our high temp today is 3, tomorrow the high is -3.

Let's chat!

I hear you! It has been so cold here too. I don't remember a colder, more snowy winter in a long time. We are in the middle of another big storm this weekend.

It's been bitterly cold here, and is only expected to get worse tonight into tomorrow morning. It's currently 7 degrees, but feels like -16. The low for tonight is -11(windchill -38). Can't forget tomorrow when the high keeps switching between 0 and -2.

It's currently -10 with a high of -3 today. I'm thankful I park close to my building at work and only walk outside for a couple of minutes. We are using more gas to heat the house this year than we ever have.

This might be a good way to keep a running tab on the cycle of winter weather......keep this thread going. Last week it got down to 16 here in central Arizona. November 16 was our first day of snowfall for the year.

I hear you all. This part of Arizona is running in the 70s during the day and only about 40 at night. Now that I said this...it will probably snow. Laughing

Good Listening

Isn't that the way it works? Cool

It's 18 degrees right now here at 5,000 feet. We got a little snow yesterday, just enough to dust the dead grass.

I think we'll be in a for a doozy this year.
